van tasic (not!)
Took van over to Kevs to get it looked at re a couple of issues.
So far it needs new pads and discs on the front... So he is keeping it to do it tomorrow when parts arrive.
He is looking into the oil leak to see where its coming from and will get back to me about that.
There is also an issue in the wiring which was making the lights play up on the back end. When i put it in reverse the brake lights came on as well as the reverse lights and when i broke the reverse lights were coming on (worried a few people in traffic)
Seems there is a break in the loom above the fuel tank so thats got to come off so they can get in there and sort the issue out. Thats booked in for next week
Not what you need in the build up to xmas is it and on my birthday as well.... at least i know it is getting a good job done on it at a good price.

Sorry to hear that mate, still better sorted than not, if it makes you feel any better Ant I: :I looked at my exhaust yesterday, said "why is it pointing down" reached down and just picked my rear box off the ground, it has just snapped off.
Small mercies though, spoke to PPtuning and im ordering a full stainless same as Ivans next week, the unfitted De-cat pipe he is taking back and giving me a credit on it

Re: van tasic (not!)
Got the van back
Brakes are sorted and light on dash now out (Brake wear). Apparently they were very thin (the discs!)
One problem though in that the brake lights are now on all the time when the ignition is turned on. Electrician thinks he has upset something when he was tracing the wires and pulling on the loom so now worse than before he looked! lol .... Its going back on Tue to get the loom looked at to sort out the issues so fingers crossed that sorts it. They have to drop the fuel tank to get into the area that the issue is at.
Not good in the run up to crimbo!
